11:11:49 PM I upgraded my processor to an AMD K6-2 550 today, and man, it it a huge difference. The old system sure is a lot snappier! Most importantly, Heroes of Might & Magic III is finally playable, and I've been having a blast with it all day. Loki has also put out a map editor, so I think I'll be working up some new scenarios this weekend to test it out.

6:04:26 PM Wired is running an article on how more, not less paper is being used in this Internet age. It certainly isn't being used by me. I have never been able to understand those people who feel compelled to print out e-mails and the like. Frankly, I've gone for weeks without a printer being connected to my system without really noticing it. It's only when I have to deal with someone that isn't wired that I'm forced into "paper space."

8:50:17 PM Hopefully, my bank is one of the banks that EDS is supporting with their soon to be announced Palm VII wireless banking application. A little nano-assembler that allowed me to withdraw cash from it would be cool, too.
